Our purpose & focus

The upward, inward, and outward focus.

Upward

We Seek God

Fuego Church exists so people can establish a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Jeremiah 29:12–13; John 14:6)

Inward

We Equip the Saints

We give a prominent place to Bible study while encouraging, building up, and serving one another. (Ephesians 4:11–12)

Outward

We Make Disciples

“Reaching the lost, no matter the cost!” We share the love of Jesus with our community and the world—one family at a time. (Matthew 28:18–20)

The meaning behind our name

Why the name
Fuego?

Fuego is “fire” in Spanish.

Fire is the most significant human discovery.

Fuego also implies passion.

Fuego Church is passionate for souls.

“We are reaching the lost,
no matter the cost!”

Statement of Faith

What we believe.

01

The Holy Bible

The Bible is the authoritative Word of God and the final authority for doctrine and truth. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20–21)

02

The Trinity

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal and co-eternal. (Matthew 3:16–17; 28:19)

03

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God the Son, fully God and fully man. He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return in power and glory.

04

Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is God’s gift, not the result of human effort. (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)

05

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, equips, and empowers believers to live for Christ and share the Gospel. (John 14:17; Acts 1:8; Titus 3:5)

06

The Church

The Church is the Body of Christ, united in Jesus and called to worship, grow, serve one another, and fulfill the Great Commission. (Ephesians 1:22; Matthew 28:18–20)

07

Baptism & Communion

We practice water baptism following faith in Jesus and the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of His sacrifice. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–25)

08

Healing

We believe God still heals and invites the Church to pray in faith for the sick. (James 5:14–16; Isaiah 53:5)

09

Resurrection & Eternity

Jesus rose bodily from the dead. We believe in resurrection, eternal life with God for believers, and the visible return of Jesus Christ.
